Texas Longhorns Defeat Delaware Hornets, 86-59

The No. 18/18 ranked Texas Longhorns defeated the Delaware Hornets 86-59 on Friday night at the Moody Center. Graduate student guard Max Abmas scored a Longhorn-high 19 points, while sophomore forward Dillon Mitchell had a double-double with 14 points and 11 rebounds.

The Longhorns shot 52.8 percent from the field, including 54.5 percent from three-point range, and 85.7 percent from the free throw line. They also contributed 28 field goals and 22 assists.

Texas led by as many as 34 points in the second half en route to the victory. The Longhorns will return to action on Wednesday, Nov. 15, when they take on the Rice Owls at the Moody Center.
